Anthony El-Hashem is an associate attorney in the Immigration Planning and Compliance team within Akerman’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. Anthony is responsible for the strategic preparation and management of employment and family-based immigration matters on behalf of corporate clients in various industries, including hospitals and healthcare networks, laboratories, universities, parenteral drug packaging companies, software development and technology firms, advertising agencies, and wealth management firms, among others. Through his advice and counsel, clients are better prepared to navigate and understand the complex issues associated with nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes, such as H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, O-1, and TN Petitions, and PERM labor certification applications and I-140 Petitions in the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 preference classification categories, to hire and retain top foreign talent and remain in compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
